Photographer, Filmmaker & Educator in Lisbon, Portugal

I’m Lilit Danielyan, a photographer, filmmaker, and teaching artist currently based in Lisbon, Portugal, moving between Europe, Armenia, and the U.S.

My work explores themes of migration, belonging, identity, and memory, often blending documentary photography with emotional storytelling. Whether I’m capturing a quiet moment, crafting a visual narrative, or guiding someone through a Therapeutic Photography workshop, I aim to create spaces where people feel truly seen.

My photography has been featured in PhotoVogue and exhibited internationally in Portugal, Bosnia, Mexico, Geneva, and the United States. I was the principal photographer for Dear Maine, a portrait book sharing the stories of immigrants making a new home in America.

I work across both commercial and documentary contexts, always with a personal, human approach.

If you’re curious to collaborate, book a portrait session, or join one of my workshops—either in Lisbon or online—please feel free to reach out.

Lilit (Lilo) Danielyan is a photographer and filmmaker currently based between Portugal and the US.
